Border Rivers Christian College is opening its doors to the community, and we'd love you to join us for our Open Evening on Wednesday, 16 September from 5:30pm .

Whether you're considering Border Rivers for your child's education, have a little one approaching Prep, are exploring primary or secondary school options, or simply want to learn more about our College, you're very welcome to come along.

Come and Experience Border Rivers

Our Open Evening is designed to be relaxed, welcoming and informative.

You'll have the opportunity to tour the College , explore our Prep, primary and secondary learning environments, meet our teachers and students, and get a genuine feel for everyday life at Border Rivers.

There will also be plenty of time to ask questions and speak directly with members of our College community.

Hear From Our Community

During the evening, we'll host a short Q&A featuring our Principal, a current Border Rivers parent and a Border Rivers student .

It's an opportunity to hear different perspectives on life at the College, from our approach to education and school culture to what it's actually like to be a student or family at Border Rivers.

Dinner Is On Us

We'd love you to stay and enjoy dinner with us.

A spit-roast style dinner with rolls and salads will be provided, giving everyone an opportunity to relax, meet other families and continue the conversation after the formal part of the evening concludes.

If you or a family member has dietary requirements, please let us know when you RSVP or contact our team.

The main activities and Q&A are expected to conclude at approximately 6:30pm, with our team remaining afterwards for anyone who would like to stay, have a conversation or ask further questions.

Bring the kids, bring the grandparents and come along to meet our community, explore the College and discover what Border Rivers could offer your family.

Come along and celebrate the Christmas spirit at our annual Carols by Candlelight event in collaboration with Mueller College and Goondiwindi Regional Council.

Do you want to help a child in need?

Operation Christmas Child is taking place at Border Rivers Christian College and and is being run by the Year 4 Students.

Operation Christmas Child is a program that gives children in need an opportunity to feel what it’s like to receive a gift for Christmas.

The children will also receive a Bible and 12 scripture lessons.

If you want to participate, collect a box from the College and buy some gifts to pack into the box for the children.

You also have to add $12.50 to the box for postage.

The Year Four classroom will be open before school to collect boxes and a brochure that tells you what to pack. Boxes need to be returned by the 13th of October (Term 4, Week 2).

A display will be set up in the Year Four classroom. If there are any questions, the Year Fours are happy to answer them.

I think Operation Christmas Child is a great opportunity to give to the poor.
